ENGIE is one of the country’s largest privately-owned generators of electricity, gas-fired and wind facilities located in Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia.

With 3540 megawatts of generation in operation, the company supplies 12 percent of Australia's National Energy Market.

  • Pelican Point 479 MW – natural gas
  • Synergen 396 MW – natural gas, distillate
  • Canunda 46 MW – wind

Western Australia

  • Kwinana 122 MW – natural gas

The Australian business is part of the global ENGIE group, which is responsible for ENGIE’s energy activities in 30 countries across six regions.

Together with power generation, ENGIE is active in closely linked businesses, including downstream LNG, gas distribution, desalination and retail.
