  • 2.Your unique code will be emailed to you by Hawthorn Football Club if you have provided your email address, otherwise a letter with the unique code will be mailed to you.
  • 3.You will only receive your unique code within 4 weeks of responsibility for your electricity supply transferring to Simply Energy. Transfer of your electricity supply may take up to 14 weeks. You will be advised when your electricity supply has been transferred to Simply Energy. If you are an existing Simply Energy customer, you will receive your unique code within 4 weeks of receiving your next electricity bill from us after you accepted this offer.
  • 4.You will not receive a unique code if your electricity market contract is cancelled, rescinded or terminated before the electricity supply for your premises is transferred to Simply Energy.
  • 5.Unique codes are non-refundable and non-returnable.
  • 6.Unique codes are not redeemable for cash.
  • 7.Unique codes are valid for twelve months from the date of issue (unless otherwise specified).
  • 8.Unique codes are only redeemable online at www.hawksnestonline.com.au. Gift Vouchers will not be accepted at any HawksNest stores.
  • 9.Unique codes may not be redeemed for the purchase of Gift Vouchers (you can’t purchase a Gift Voucher with another Gift Voucher).
  • 10.Unique codes may not be used towards purchasing any Hawthorn Football Club membership.
  • Eligibility11. You are not eligible for our offer unless we have market contract electricity rates and gas rates (if applicable) for domestic customers with your meter type in your distribution area. You must meet our creditworthiness and other eligibility criteria.
  • Direct Debit12.If you agree to set up a direct payment arrangement with us and agreed to our Automatic Payment Arrangement Conditions:
    1. you will be eligible for the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates in respect of an electricity bill (the “relevant bill”) if payment of the relevant bill and all your electricity bills and gas bills (if applicable) issued prior to the relevant bill (if any) have actually been made by direct debit or automatic payment from your credit card in accordance with our Automatic Payment Conditions. The amount that we debit from your nominated financial institution to pay the relevant bill will be reduced by the amount of the guaranteed discounts;
    2. if you are making payment by automatic payment from your credit card you must make payment by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Diners Club to be eligible for the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates; and
    3. you will not be entitled to the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates in respect of an electricity bill (and we will not otherwise be responsible) if the direct debit or automatic payment from your credit card fails or is delayed because:
      1. you did not provide the Request for Automatic Payment form, and agree to our Automatic Payment Arrangement Conditions, within the 14 days before the next scheduled meter read date specified on your latest electricity bill;
      2. any of the details you have provided us are incorrect or incomplete; or
      3. there were insufficient clear funds or credit available in the nominated account to meet the Automatic Payment Arrangement payment on the pay-by date for the electricity bill
  • Ebilling13.If you agree to receive your electricity bills by email (ebilling) and provide a valid email address:
    1. you will be eligible for the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates in respect of an electricity bill (the “relevant bill”) if:
      1. we are actually able to send the relevant bill by email to the most recent email address you provided to us for the purposes of ebilling; and
      2. we were able to send all electricity bills and gas bills (if applicable) issued prior to the relevant bill (if any) to the most recent email address you had provided to us for the purposes of ebilling in respect of those bills.
    2. you will not be entitled to the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates in respect of an electricity bill (the “relevant bill”) (and we will not otherwise be responsible) if:
      1. we receive an undeliverable message in relation to the relevant bill or any electricity bills or gas bills (if applicable) issued prior to the relevant bill (if any) we have attempted to send to the most recent email address you have or had provided to us for the purposes of ebilling, even if we are or have been able to subsequently send the relevant bill or the previously issued electricity or gas bills (if applicable) to the email address or a different email address; or
      2. you request us to provide a copy of the relevant bill or any electricity bills or gas bills issued prior to the relevant bill by post in addition to or in substitution for those electricity or gas bills that we will send or have sent to you by email;
    3. it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain a valid email address and whilst we may endeavour to contact you to obtain a new valid email address if we discover that your electricity or gas bills have not been successfully delivered to the most recent email address you provided to us for the purposes of ebilling, you will not be entitled to the additional guaranteed discount off the electricity rates in respect of an electricity bill if we are not or have not been able to send electricity bills or gas bills (if applicable) by email even if we have not endeavoured to contact you to obtain a new valid email address; and
    4. you must advise us immediately of a new valid email address to which we can send your electricity bills and gas bills (if applicable) if you cancel the email account for the most recent email address you provided to use for the purposes of ebilling.
  • General Conditions14.Additional guaranteed discounts do not apply to gas rates or charges.
  • 15.Discounts will only apply to energy consumption charges and supply charges and will not apply to other charges including but not limited to termination fees and will be applied before concessions and GST.
  • 16.If you are not eligible for a discount in respect of a bill, but we apply that discount to your bill (for whatever reason), the amount of the discount will be debited to a subsequent bill.
  • 17.If you are eligible for a discount in respect of a bill, but you overpay the amount of that discount to us, that amount will be credited to your next bill. You will not be entitled to a refund of that amount before your next bill is issued.
  • 18.If your bill is based on an estimate of your energy consumption, the discounts will be applied to the estimated consumption. If we subsequently receive an actual meter read, we will adjust the discounts on the next bill accordingly
  • 19.You will not be eligible for any discounts if you are on a Fixed Instalment Plan at the time the relevant bill is issued.
  • 20.The discounts will end at the end of your fixed term contract(s).
  • 21.No failure to exercise or delay in exercising any right, power or remedy by us operates as a waiver. A single or partial exercise of any right, power or remedy does not preclude any other or further exercise of that or any other right, power or remedy. A waiver is not valid or binding on us unless made in writing.
