Saving with business equipment
- Photocopiers and computers should be turned off when not in use. Even keeping them on ‘standby’ uses significant power.
- Use power-saving options and switch office equipment off at night.
- Photocopiers and computers produce extra heat, which then means windows are opened, fans or air conditioning turned on – all adding up to wasted electricity.
